Put a flower in your lapel
Very few men wear a flower pin or a boutonniere every day. It is often just a part of the outfit at special events like weddings or jubilees, or to commemorate events like Remembrance Day - a memorial day to remember the armed forces that died during the First World War. During Remembrance Day (or during Remembrance Week) you wear a poppy flower in your lapel to honor the fallen soldiers.
You don’t need a special event in order to wear a flower pin. You can wear it at almost any occasion, but at a funeral it might seem a bit too festive.
There are not many rules to know if you want to wear a flower pin. The only rule is, that the pin placement is on the left lapel of your blazer.
